Our editorial commitment
Lunar Guide publishes educational content about astrology, moon phases, spiritual practices, and personal growth. Our goal is to produce content that is accurate, useful, and honest — content you can trust whether you're new to astrology or have studied it for years.
We do not publish content designed to create anxiety, manufacture urgency, or pressure readers into purchases. Astrological information on this site is presented as a framework for self-reflection, not as prediction or medical advice.
Who writes our content
Content on Lunar Guide is written by our in-house content team, which includes writers with personal practice in astrology, moon-phase work, and related spiritual traditions. All published content is reviewed before going live.
We do not use AI to auto-generate the editorial articles, blog posts, or reference guides on this website. AI is used separately within the Lunar Guide app to personalize guidance based on individual birth charts and current transits — a different and explicitly labeled function.
How we review for accuracy
- →Astrological data (planetary positions, moon phases, retrograde dates) is sourced from the Swiss Ephemeris, the same dataset used by professional astrologers worldwide.
- →Interpretive content (sign meanings, house descriptions, transit guidance) is cross-referenced against established astrological literature before publishing.
- →Pages covering wellness, mental health, or supplement-related topics include a reminder that this content does not substitute for professional medical or psychological advice.
- →App comparison and review articles disclose our position as an astrology app, so readers can evaluate our perspective accordingly.
How often we update content
Time-sensitive pages (moon phase calendars, retrograde trackers, eclipse calendars) are reviewed and updated on a regular schedule — at minimum, annually. Evergreen educational content is reviewed when we receive user corrections, when new interpretive research warrants an update, or on a rolling editorial calendar.
Pages that have been recently reviewed display a “Last reviewed” date near the top. If you notice outdated information, please let us know at hello@lunarguideapp.com.
Advertising and independence
Lunar Guide's business model is based on in-app credit purchases. We do not accept sponsored posts or paid placements in our editorial content. Display advertising, if present, is served through third-party ad networks and does not influence what we write or recommend.
When we mention third-party apps, books, or tools, we do so because we believe they are genuinely useful to readers. We do not accept payment for positive mentions.
Corrections policy
If we publish an error, we correct it promptly and note the correction at the bottom of the affected page. We do not silently delete or alter content to hide mistakes. If you believe something we've published is inaccurate, please contact us at hello@lunarguideapp.com with a subject line of “Content correction.”
